Terms of Service & Disclaimer
These terms cover your use of CORVIX, a market intelligence and portfolio tracking tool at corvixquant.com. By creating an account, you agree to them. Read the disclaimer below carefully. It matters more than the rest of this page.
1. Not investment advice
CORVIX is an informational and educational tool. Nothing on the site, in the app, or in any alert we send you is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or asset. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker, or financial planner, and using CORVIX does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and us.
Every score, band, signal, and backtest result is a description of historical or current data run through our methodology. It is not a prediction, and it is not a promise. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, including whether to act on anything CORVIX shows you.
2. Past performance and backtests
Backtested or historical performance shown in CORVIX does not indicate future results. Our backtester uses point-in-time data and applies transaction costs on turnover, but no backtest can fully capture real trading conditions, and markets do not repeat themselves in the way a backtest might suggest.
3. Data accuracy
CORVIX pulls data from third-party providers. We do our best to keep it accurate and current, but we provide it "as is" and do not guarantee it is complete, accurate, or up to date. If a decision depends on a number being exactly right, verify it independently before acting on it.
4. Financial projections and planning tools
CORVIX includes retirement, cash flow, and financial planning tools. These tools produce illustrative estimates generated from the inputs you provide and from general policy parameters for a country you select, such as income tax brackets and retirement, pension, or social-security contribution rates. Depending on the country, these systems have different names (for example CPF in Singapore, Social Security and 401(k) rules in the United States, and their equivalents elsewhere). CORVIX supports a limited set of these systems and applies simplified versions of them.
Everything these tools produce is a hypothetical illustration, not advice, not a prediction, and not a guarantee. Nothing a projection or plan shows is financial, investment, tax, retirement, insurance, or legal advice, and using these tools does not create an advisory, planning, or fiduciary relationship between you and us. The tools assume conditions that may never happen, cannot capture your full personal circumstances, and can be materially wrong for any individual. Past and projected performance do not indicate future results. A projection is only ever as reliable as the inputs and assumptions behind it, all of which are your responsibility to review and verify.
Policy figures (contribution rates, retirement or pension thresholds, tax brackets, and similar parameters) vary by country and change over time. We assemble them on a best-effort basis and provide them "as is". We do not warrant that any figure is complete, accurate, current, or applicable to any person. Each policy pack shows a "last verified" date. You must confirm any figure against the official source for the relevant country, such as its tax authority or social-security administration, before relying on it for a real decision. We are not responsible for changes in law or policy that CORVIX has not yet reflected, or for any figure that is outdated, incomplete, or incorrect.
You are solely responsible for every decision you make using these tools. If you use CORVIX in the course of advising your own clients, you alone are responsible for the advice you give, for confirming every figure independently, and for complying with all laws, regulations, and licensing requirements that apply to you and your practice. CORVIX supports your professional judgment; it is never a substitute for it. We have no relationship with, and accept no responsibility or liability to, your clients or any other third party who is affected by your use of CORVIX.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and two-factor authentication method secure. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use CORVIX, and the information you give us when registering must be accurate.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Some features are free. Others require a paid subscription after a trial period, billed through our payment processor, Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all purchases, which means your payment is made to Paddle, not directly to us, and Paddle handles applicable sales tax. See our refund policy for cancellation and refund terms.
We may change pricing going forward. If we do, we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies to their next billing cycle.
Features vary by plan, and a change to your account's plan (an upgrade, a downgrade, a trial ending, or a payment failing) takes effect immediately on your next request, not at the end of a billing period. Your saved data is never deleted when your plan changes. It stays on your account and becomes available again if you upgrade.
7. Acceptable use
Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute CORVIX's data or reverse engineer the app. Don't try to bypass rate limits, security controls, or account restrictions. Don't use the service for anything illegal. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
8. Warranties and limitation of liability
CORVIX and everything in it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any figure, score, projection, or result it produces is accurate, current, or suitable for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we, our operators, and anyone involved in creating or delivering CORVIX will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, lost savings, trading or investment losses, lost data, business interruption, or losses arising from any decision you or anyone else made using CORVIX, even if we have been advised that such losses were possible, and regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.
Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to CORVIX is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
This section reduces our exposure. It does not, and cannot, eliminate the risk of using a service like this. You use CORVIX, and act on anything it shows you, entirely at your own risk. Before you make or give financial, tax, retirement, or investment decisions or advice, consult a professional who is licensed in your jurisdiction.
9. Indemnification
You agree to cover reasonable costs and damages we incur from a third-party claim arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abuse of the service, fraud, or non-payment.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of CORVIX, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Any claim you bring must be filed within one year after the event giving rise to it, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law where you live permits such a limit.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use CORVIX after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. General
If any part of these terms is held to be unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of these terms will stay in full effect. Our not enforcing any part of these terms at any time is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of CORVIX and replace any earlier understanding on the subject. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours to a successor or acquirer of the business or its assets. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
